What is AI fleet management?
AI fleet management uses models to rank and act on fleet decisions — who takes which load, which route costs least, which vehicle needs service — instead of leaving them to spreadsheets. Pyles Ops applies it to dispatch, routing, maintenance triage and margin tracking on one board.
How does the AI decide which driver gets a job?
Jobs are scored on driver proximity, vehicle and category fit, current workload, rating, client priority and the payout-to-revenue margin. Dispatchers see the ranking and the reason, and can override any suggestion.
Can I keep a human in the loop?
Yes. Auto-assignment is a per-lane switch. With it off, the platform only recommends, and every recommendation is logged so you can audit what the model proposed and what the dispatcher chose.
Does it replace my existing systems?
No. It sits on top of them. Webhooks and the integrations page cover auto-assign and billing sync with Zapier, n8n, Make and Pipedream, so your accounting and telematics tools keep working.
